Balancing innovation with building AI Platforms

So mutli-modal ChatGPT is out, and Microsoft just killed it with AutoGen launch — But what should your team focus on ? Should your internal chatGPT competitor be adding more features or working on a platform to help enable more teams to build their own Gen AI apps?

How does an AI PM strike a balance between this? I can only share what I have seen from experience.
